Kiwikidz Homebased Educare was established to meet the growing demand for loving homes away from home for children from birth to 6 years. As our childcare service has continued to grow, we are thrilled to be able to offer our loving care to children and families throughout Auckland.
At the heart of Kiwikidz is our belief that every child deserves to feel and be safe, loved and accepted. Everything we do is measured against that belief – from our ‘safety in the home’ and ‘out and about’ policies to our smart start education programme.
Your involvement with Kiwikidz Homebased Educare extends beyond the relationship between your child and their Educarer. As a family owned and operated childcare service, we have worked hard to create a much larger community dedicated to ensuring your child receives the best possible care. Our village includes:
- You, your child and family.
- Your child’s Educarer.
- An extensive support network consisting of Kiwikidz early childhood visiting teachers who regularly visit your child, other Kiwikidz Educarers and the Ministry of Education. Other professionals who support the learning and development of children.
Kiwikidz is also an active supporter of your community. We get behind causes and involve ourselves in raising funds for groups that need our support.
Our goal is to give your child the right start for their schooling years. Research has consistently shown that the foundations for learning are formed in first few years of life – and the quality of the relationship formed between your child and the person looking after them is the most important element. If you want your child to confidently:
- think, explore and discover
- create, take risks and persevere, and
- relate to others, participate and contribute
a positive and loving environment is required. We provide the best possible environment to encourage your child to develop life-long skills essential for learning and growth.
